Life update: Sleeping 3-4 hour stretches about every third night… it’s progress. 😵‍💫 Feeling much better recovery wise and went to the gym for the first time this week. Turned off the email auto responder and starting to take shoots again! Getting Christmas lights today. Going on bike rides. And Ace’s hairline is receding like a 50 year old man. 😅 All is well.

My thoughts over the past month: Still feels like we’re babysitting at times, like he’s not really ours. Other times I’ll look at him while Cody’s holding him or while he’s asleep in my arms and I’ll think, holy crap, you’re my kid. I get excited to see him grow but also so scared for him to crawl, walk, and talk. Time has become so much more precious and it seems there’s never enough now. The days feel pretty repetitive, but we know we’re going to miss this stage when it’s gone. We kind of dread going to bed at night knowing we’ll be up in two hours, but every night we end up just staring at him and laughing at his weird sleepy noises and faces. We feel so lucky. He’s such a good sweet baby. We still laugh at every manly burp. We are obsessed with his sleepy noises and fuzzy ears and shoulders. We can’t kiss him enough. One month down ♥️

Living in bed these days with this guy. 🥱♥️ So glad we have such a cozy bed to snuggle in. Our sheets, duvet and pillowcases are from @cozyearth and we’re obsessed. We’ve had them for almost three years and just ordered another set. (Which is helpful when you get spit up and peed on almost every night 😅) These sheets have also really helped postpartum with getting hot. They’re bamboo and temperature regulated. I always feel so comfortable and feel like I can take advantage of the little sleep I’m getting.😅♥️ #sleepcozyearth
